Latécoère gave us an outstanding challenge: creating animated illusions through projection mapping over a plane structure. With 3D animation, we created an audiovisual piece to celebrate the brand's 100th birthday.
ABOUT PROJECT
Projection mapping made it possible for us to simulate the piece-by-piece construction of the fuselage and use its surface as a canvas to narrate historical events. Mentioning Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s historic flights to Brazil, when he was a pilot at the beginning of Latécoère; Embraer’s profit-hunters and, of course, a tribute to Embraer founder, Ozires Silva.
In addition to telling all these stories, the projection mapping at the end of the presentation was also an asset of the decoration, displaying aerial images of Brazil and France alongside the rest of the event.
